Kirkland Primary Bathroom Remodel

This Kirkland, WA primary bathroom remodel was a complete overhaul. BTBI took the space down to the studs and turned an awkward 4-piece layout into a 5-piece spa bathroom with a walk-in shower, a relocated tub, and statement porcelain tile throughout. The finished room has been compared to a luxury Las Vegas hotel suite, and we couldn’t agree more.

Reworking an Awkward Layout

The original bathroom had an odd 4-piece configuration that wasted space. After removing the non-essential walls, BTBI shrank the existing closet to free up room. That extra space made it possible to relocate the toilet and move the tub to the opposite side of the bathroom. The old tub location became a new walk-in shower with frameless glass, giving the homeowners a true 5-piece primary bath.

Tile That Sets the Tone

The homeowners selected Maximo Rialto Grand Polished Porcelain for most of the walls, including the shower and tub surround. Its bold veining is what gives the room its high-end hotel feel. BTBI paired it with Black Slate Hexagon Mosaic tile on the shower floor for contrast and texture, and Adessi Millennium Steel Porcelain throughout the rest of the space to keep the overall look balanced.
