Mid-Century Modern Home Remodel

This 1970 was well overdue for a makeover! The Clients first came to BTBI wanting a Basement Remodel, but after a few design consultations decided they wanted to update their main floor instead. BTBI reconfigured the Kitchen to improve the flow and installed custom Flat Panel Rift White Oak Custom Cabinetry to complement their Mid-Century Modern style. BTBI then lowered the wall between the living room and dining room to create a more open concept, updated the fireplace with built-ins to match the Kitchen, and replaced the railing with a black decorative railing to complement the spaces. BTBI also updated the Hall Bathroom with more modern finishes and reconfigured the Ensuite Bathroom to better utilize dead spaces and accommodate an extra-large walk-in shower with frameless glass and a massive double vanity. Along the way, the team replaced degraded insulation and updated lighting to more efficient LEDs
